The Barle Valley and Exmoor ponies

The Cowshed sleeps up to four in two bedrooms and has ample private parking for 2 cars within the gated yard in front.

Bedroom 1 has a king size bed and en-suite shower room.

Bedroom 2 has twin beds and there is a separate bathroom.

All bed linen and towels are provided.

Open plan lounge and dining area

The kitchen is well equipped with cooker, microwave, toaster, small fridge freezer, washer/dryer, ironing board and iron and plenty of crockery and cooking utensils, plus the usual kitchen sundries.

The Cowshed at Draydon farm is situated within the Exmoor National Park, in a beautiful and tranquil spot overlooking the Barle valley. The lane approaching the cottage affords great views down the valley where the wild red deer and Exmoor ponies can often be seen.

It is 2 miles from the attractive town of Dulverton.

The Cowshed

The living area is open plan, with tv, dvd player, a selection of discs, plus books, games and maps of the area.

Heating is all electric, and in addition to the night storage heaters, the living room has a coal effect electric fire.

Kitchen and dining area from the lounge

On the veranda there is a two seat companion bench. Extra folding chairs and a side table are provided. The  south facing open aspect makes this a nice place to relax and a good spot for star gazing.

Exmoor was designated Europe’s first International Dark Sky Reserve in 2011.
